In the quaint but always lively streets of Little Italy, there are several notable streets to explore. Most notable is Kettner Boulevard, aka Top Chef Alley, or Cedar Street, home to the famous farmer’s market Mercato. It is always helpful to have a car in San Diego as there are so many places to explore, but for those without personal transportation, the closet public transportation station is County Center/Little Italy Station. It has a direct routes to Santa Fe Depot and Old Town Transit Center, where all forms of public transportation like the train, trolley, or bus are available.
