Not to mention you are just a quick walk to renowned Sunset Cliffs to watch the sunset & the waves come crashing in. Calling all pet lovers, this location offers both dog beach & dog park all within walking distance. If you are here to explore what San Diego has to offer, easy access to other great areas of San Diego, such as Downtown, Mission Beach, Pacific Beach, or La Jolla can be reached within 10-15 min.

Point Loma is a really a great neighborhood and encompasses all of what SoCal life has to offer. Easy access to beautiful beaches and other areas such as Downtown, this place really is a great place regardless if you are vacationing or in San Diego for work.
You can't ask for more when it comes to the beautiful beaches, which are perfect for surfing, swimming, playing, tanning, etc. Don't forget to cruise the OB coastline along Sunset Cliffs Boulevard to catch amazing views of the Pacific and its sunsets.
Newport Avenue has so much to offer, great boutiques, microbreweries, restaurants, and bars. Every Wednesday near the beach, Newport Avenue is blocked off for the famous OB Farmer's Market, where you can get the best fresh produce and check out goods of local merchants and artists.
If you want to explore other beaches then we suggest Mission Beach and Pacific Beach. Besides having the Pacific and the Bay at your fingertips, a very colorful boardwalk connects the two beaches. Just hop on the boardwalk, but be sure to look both ways first, and experience what the boardwalk is all about in SoCal. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, surf/bike rental shops, and convenient/liquor stores. The Mission Bay Aquatic Center is also nearby and a great place to get all your water activities rentals!
If you do decide to explore away from the beach, this property is centrally located. You are a quick drive from most attractions in San Diego like the San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, Balboa Park, and Downtown. Also this property is located just off the 8 highway, which means you can easily head up to North County to enjoy places like LEGOLAND, San Diego Zoo Safari Park, Carlsbad Premium Outlets, and the Flower Fields!

In the event of hurricane or storm, no refunds will be given unless:
▪ The National Weather Service orders mandatory evacuation in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area".
▪ A mandatory evacuation order has been given for the “Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area” of
residence.
The day that the National Weather Service orders a mandatory evacuation order in a "Tropical
Storm/Hurricane Warning area” refunds will occur as follows:
▪ Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered.
▪ Any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive and wants to shorten their stay,
coming in only after the Hurricane Warning has been lifted.
▪ Any advance rents collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning period.
If a security deposit is required, then it is NOT applied toward rental payment and is fully refundable within twenty-one (21) days of departure, provided the following provisions are met.
If Accidental Damage Protection was purchased, then only claims that are specifically referred to and payable by the Accidental Damage Protection plan will be covered at no additional charge to the guest provided the following provisions are met. Anything outside of this may result in fees, which will be automatically charged.
▪ No damage is done to unit or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.
▪ No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets, or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay.
▪ All debris, rubbish, and trash must be placed in appropriate trash bins outside of the property. Soiled dishes must be cleaned and placed in dish rack and/or cabinets. Dishwasher must be loaded and started on the date of check-out.
▪ All keys are returned to lock box and unit is left locked.
▪ All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure.
▪ No linens or towels are lost or damaged. We request that all dirty towels be placed on floor in the bathroom.
▪ Early check-in or late check-out must be pre-approved with written consent. Fees are applicable for early check-in as well as late check-out.
▪ The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner) or the local law enforcement.

Overall our stay was ok. We had some trouble right at the start. The directions on how to get into the property were never sent to me. I reached out to the property management and after 2 hours had to call for directions on how to get into the property. The air conditioner did not work, but was replaced the following day. Even with the new air it did not cool down the entire house. The rooms were very warm, although we did stay in July. Once we were there the property management did respond to my emails within an hour so that was nice. The location was good. We walked to dinner, we were 10 min away from SeaWorld, and close to the beach. Thank you!

Overall great location. I would say a lot of the kitchen stuff didn’t seem very clean. It was also weird after submitting everything through Airbnb they asked for a separate lease to be signed and for copy of DL (which is also provided in the Airbnb app.) the place also gets really really hot during the day and the ac unit is not large enough to keep the place cool.

How was my stay? Let me sum it up! Drove our family in for a quick vacation. Check in was at 4, walked in & immediately saw a giant black spider greeting us. No worries, killed it (didn’t pay for another extra guest after all). Walked to the 1st bedroom, ant problem was clearly an issue, no worries, won’t unpack our things & just stomp around to kill them the whole week I guess. Temperature was an uncomfortable 79 degrees (according to the residences’ thermostat, who actually knows if it worked). Attempted many times to get the AC to turn on, it clearly was inop.
Walked with my kiddos the extra step to the 2nd room, another spider. Now that this is clearly a problem messaged the host. They did offer to send out an exterminator the following day to spray the outside of the residence (apparently no action required for the extra arachnids joining us on our family vacation…INSIDE the residence).
Decided to endure because…who really DESIRES to pack all their crap back into their car after driving to their vacation destination?? Yea, me neither…not real appealing, I came to relax…but relax I cannot!
Took the kids for a walk, came back & noticed another spider in the shower with a clearly woven home (he apparently had rent control). In addition, one of his friends had set up shop on the carbon monoxide detector. He was working on on building an apartment complex.
Decided to message the host again as this clearly isn’t getting better & we aren’t getting any cooler.
Host states that we can open the windows & door & their fix by sending the spray guy the next day was still clearly more than enough. Clearly this in their mind was a safe resolution with two small children & pup roaming around.
Not wanting the arachnids cousins meandering about in our mouths during the night we negotiated a 1 night charge & the cleaning fee would be adjusted to what needed to be cleaned after our departure (another whole story for that).
Bottom line, if you in the market to spend $495 of your hard earned money (more than those two items) for a 3.5 hr uncomfortably hot arachnid & ant encounter LOOK NO FURTHER!!! This place is for you! As for my family & I we were willing to pay our way out of it to find a clean place to stay.

My dad and I stayed at this Ocean Beach cottage for a long weekend, visiting family in San Diego. Communication with Property Connection was very quick and easy in the lead-up, and check-in was totally a breeze. The apartment was spacious, clean, and perfect for what we needed, as well as having an amazing location--a half mile from the beach! They had plenty of towels, so no need to bring your own, but be sure to pack your own toiletries/bodywash/etc because the bathroom amenities were pretty minimal. We would totally stay again!

Great house! I brought my grandkids for a mini-beach trip and we had a blast. The home was very clean and had everything I needed to cook! We really enjoyed our time.
